This report provides a synopsis of reviews of possible wastewater solids handling and disposal methods, shows cost estimates involved in each kind of treatment and location considered, and makes a recommendation for solids handling for the Ocean County Regional Sewerage System. The methods discussed are: digestion, disposal after digestion (landfill, barge, land reclamation), and incineration and ash disposal.
