The completion of the Waterfront Park Study marks the first step in the development of a waterfront park system along the Delaware River integrated by a bikeway/walkway path system from the Rancocas Creek to the Crosswicks Creek. The intent of the study is to provide a general concept for the development of a waterfront park system and an implementation guide to assist local officials in developing a successful project, that is in compliance with the recreational use policies of the New Jersey Coastal Management Program. Contents include: coastal management program, objectives and policies; waterfront park plans/park improvements; waterfront bicycle system; cultural resource survey; funding and implementation; design standards; cost estimates; applications and procedures; and news articles.
