Abstract

A introdução do rastreamento do câncer de pulmão com tomografia computadorizada de baixa dose em populações de risco levou à redução da mortalidade por essa neoplasia. Em paralelo, aumentou a identificação de achados tomográficos incidentais, como asAnormalidades Pulmonares Intersticiais (ILA). O impacto da presença de ILA no prognóstico de pacientes com câncer de pulmão ainda não está completamente esclarecido. Segundo a Sociedade Fleischner, ILA é um achado incidental em tomografia computadorizada do tórax (TCT), caracterizado por alterações intersticiais envolvendo ≥5% de um lobo pulmonar, na ausência de sintomas respiratórios e de diagnóstico prévio de doença pulmonar intersticial (DPI). Opacidades reticulares finas, vidro fosco subpleural, bronquiectasias de tração leves e distorção arquitetural discreta são os achados mais frequentes.
