Anemia infantil, más que deficiencia de hierro

Abstract

La anemia infantil es un problema de gran relevancia en el país, afecta especialmente a las comunidades rurales. Esta condición, una verdadera paradoja del mundo moderno, persiste debido a deficiencias nutricionales en una era caracterizada por un acceso sin precedentes a la información sobre alimentación y salud. Sin embargo, esta abundancia de información contrasta con las profundas desigualdades económicas y la deficiente distribución de recursos. Las barreras culturales, económicas y educativas que enfrentan las familias resaltan la urgencia de abordar la anemia desde un enfoque social y no únicamente sanitario, para así entender y combatir las causas de este problema que afecta el desarrollo de nuestros niños y comunidades.
