Tuzigoot: An Archaeological Overview
This report is the result of a proposed subterrene drainage project at Tuzigoot National Monument. In June, 1975, the Museum of Northern Arizona contracted with the National Park Service (Contract No. CX81005004) to study the impact of the drainage project on the archaeological resources at the Monument. In conjunction with this phase of the project, Museum archaeologists were to locate all possible undisturbed deposits in the pueblo. These deposits would be plotted on an archaeological base map developed from an aerial photograph of the Monument.
