Skrining HCC-a

Abstract

Rano otkrivanje hepatocelularnog karcinoma od presudne je važnosti za uspešno lečenje. Skrining programi se baziraju na praćenju rizičnih grupa, pre svega bolesnika sa cirozom i hroničnim hepatitisom B ili C. Ultrazvuk abdomena svakih šest meseci predstavlja standardnu metodu, dok određivanje alfa-fetoproteina može imati dodatnu vrednost. U Srbiji je potrebno unaprediti organizaciju skrining programa, sa akcentom na edukaciju lekara primarne zdravstvene zaštite i integraciju algoritama za procenu rizika. Efikasan skrining omogućava otkrivanje tumora u ranoj fazi kada su potencijalno izvodljive kurativne terapijske opcije poput resekcije, transplantacije jetre ili ablacije, čime se značajno produžava preživljavanje i poboljšava kvalitet života bolesnika.
