Percepciones de los docentes y estudiantes implicados en el Programa de Cualificación Profesional Inicial (PCPI). Un estudio en la provincia de Granada acerca de la estructura, desarrollo y propuestas de mejora del programa

Abstract

El objetivo principal de la investigación es describir y valorar algunos aspectos derivados de la aplicación de los PCPI en la provincia de Granada. El estudio se ha desarrollado partiendo de un método de investigación mixto basado en la combinación de datos cuantitativos y cualitativos. La investigación se realizó durante el curso académico 2011/2012. Se invitó a toda la población obteniendo una muestra total de 213 profesores (62,13%) y de 803 alumnos (46,44%). Posteriormente, se entrevistó a 12 profesores de PCPI pertenecientes a centros públicos y concertados. Aunque son reconocidos por todos los profesores que han participado en el estudio la utilidad y beneficios del PCPI, que a su vez también han sido reconocidos por otras investigaciones, éstos plantean propuestas para mejorar el programa desde su experiencia diaria del trabajo con estos alumnos en riesgo. Se hace necesaria una evaluación profunda de la estructura, duración, currículum, selección del profesorado, ratio, entre otros aspectos.
