Abstract

En 2024-2025, la Bibliothèque nationale de France propose un nouveau cycle de conférence consacré à l'histoire de la presse du XVIIe siècle à nos jours. Deux conférences seront proposées chaque année, autour des collections de presse de la Bibliothèque. Le cycle évoque la naissance de la presse et la rupture de la Révolution de 1789 puis interroge le combat pour la liberté de la presse et l’avènement de la profession de journaliste au tournant des XIXe-XXe siècles, âge d’or du journal.
