Abstract

Acredita-se que num futuro próximo os veículos autônomos estarão presentes em diversos cenários do dia a dia, realizando diferentes funções e atividades de alto impacto social, ambiental e econômico. Esta classe de veículos possui inúmeras vantagens, tais como baixo custo de operação, precisão em suas tarefas, atuação em locais insalubres ou inadequados para a presença de humanos e ações ininterruptas por bastante tempo. Neste trabalho apresentamos o FBoat, que é um veleiro autônomo com capacidade para realizar monitoramento ambiental.
