Abstract

Peningkatan jumlah penduduk yang signifikan diseluruh dunia menyebabkan meningkatnya jumlah produksi sampah hingga menimbulkan lonjakan yang cukup tinggi. Lonjakan ini disebabkan meningkatnya kebutuhan yang diperlukan manusia sehari-hari, dengan banyaknya kebutuhan maka banyak juga sampah yang dihasilkan, terutama sampah plastik yang dijadikan wadah atau bahan pembungkus berbagai macam barang lainnya. Sehingga membuat lingkungan tercemar akibat sampah plastik. Sudah banyak upaya yang dilakukan dunia dan pemerintah dalam mengurangi sampah salah satunya seperti yang dilakukan PT. Indonesia Bebas Sampah, yaitu memilah limbah kemudian menjualnya kepada pihak-pihak yang mendaur ulang limbah tersebut. Adanya sistem pendukung keputusan (SPK) maka akan membantu PT. Indonesia Bebas Sampah memilih limbah terbaik untuk dibeli kemudian dipilah dan didaur ulang. Menggunakan metode SMART (Simple Multi-Attribute Ratting Technique) akan memperoleh limbah terbaik yang dapat dibeli dengan fleksibel dan sederhana sehingga dapat memenuhi keutuhan pengambilan keputusan dan respons analitis yang cepat. Alternatif yang diambil sebagai acuan penelitian meliputi minyak jelantah, plastik-plastik, botol-botol minuman bekas, dan beberapa sampah rumah tangga yang dapat didaur ulang lainnya. Berdasarkan 25 alternatif yang digunakan, maka didapatkan hasil yakni, minyak jelantah dengan ranking tertinggi 0,85. Penelitian ini menciptkan sebuah keputusan dengan menggunakan metode SMART guna mengetahui limbah apa saja yang dapat dibeli dengan memberikan profit lebih banyak yaitu minyak jelantah dengan hasil nilai 0,85.
