Biofertilizante na produção de mudas de calêndula

Abstract

A utilização de biofertilizantes é uma importante alternativa que contribui para a nutrição mineral de plantas, principalmente em cultivos mais sustentáveis. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi avaliar o crescimento inicial de mudas de calêndula submetidas a diferentes doses de biofertilizante. As mudas de calêndula cultivar Bonina Sortida foram produzidas em bandejas de poliestireno expandido com 200 células preenchidas com substrato Plantmax®. O delineamento experimental foi o inteiramente casualizado com 5 tratamentos constituídos das doses de 0, 1, 2, 3 e 4 mL L-1 de extrato de algas Alquifish e 8 repetições. Foram realizadas três aplicações foliares, sendo a primeira na semeadura e as subsequentes em intervalos de 7 dias. Aos 30 dias após a semeadura contabilizou-se o número de folhas por planta e a massa fresca e seca de folhas, caule e raízes. O uso do biofertilizante a base de extrato de algas até a dose de 4 mL L-1 incrementa os caracteres morfológicos da parte aérea e de raízes em mudas de calêndula.
