Abstract

El presente trabajo busca establecer los aportes conceptuales que tuvo el marxismo desde la postura afrocentrada de autores como Aimé Césaire, C.L.R. James, Walter Rodney, Cedric Robinson y Manuel Zapata Olivella, principales referentes de una corriente que denomino marxismo afrodiaspórico. A partir de una metodología documental que analiza las posturas de estos autores como documentos históricos, teóricos y conceptuales, este trabajo nos permite entender cómo el componente étnico y racial fue trascendental en el origen, desarrollo y consolidación del capitalismo moderno, dejando como resultado un capitalismo racial, generando así una perspectiva que robustece la visión clásica de la lucha de clases y el materialismo histórico.
