As a result of the research, it was seen that Turkish songs were not used at all in some textbooks in Turkish teaching sets, while they were used frequently in some textbooks. It has been determined that a few songs that used in the textbooks are not suitable for the target language level in the context of language structures, and most of the songs can be used for the target language level. It has been concluded that the stages of the song activities are limited in terms of number and variety and that the activities can be improved. At the end of the study, suggestions were made to improve the quality of Turkish as a foreign language textbooks and activity suggestions were presented for B1 level.
