Abstract

El ángulo gonial es una medición importante dentro del trazado cefalométrico, se utiliza para determinar el patrón de crecimiento facial, consecuentemente determinado también por el patrón muscular, sin embargo, en la radiografía lateral de cráneo existe superposición del ángulo de los lados izquierdo y derecho, situación que podría causar un error en la medición. El ángulo gonial puede ser medido en la radiografía panorámica, donde los ángulos goniales derecho e izquierdo se pueden medir individualmente, disminuyendo considerablemente el riesgo de error, pues no existe superposición de imágenes como sucede con una lateral de cráneo. Es por ello que el empleo de métodos neutrosóficos pueden contribuir al mejoramiento del análisis de esta problemática. Por tal sentido la presente investigación tiene como objetivo: realizar un análisis estadistico neutrosófico sobre el ángulo gonial en pacientes clase I, II, III en radiografías panorámicas y laterales. Para ello se utilizaron métodos y técnicas tanto teóricos, empíricos y estadísticos matemáticos. Los resultados obtenidos contribuyeron a lograr mayor precisión en el análisis de esta problemática.
