Abstract

Se presenta el caso de un hombre diabético de 49 años con úlceras vasculares de origen venoso, localizadas en el tercio inferior de la cara anterior del miembro inferior izquierdo. Era una lesión recidivante muy exudativa con afectación de la piel perilesional y con antecedente de trombosis venosa profunda. El caso clínico se basa en la descripción del tratamiento, la evolución y destacar la importancia del seguimiento por parte de la enfermera experta para la curación de heridas crónicas. ABSTRACT: [Venous ulcers in the lower limb in a patient with deep vein thrombosis: a clinical case] We present the case of a 49-year-old diabetic man with vascular ulcers of venous origin, located in the lower third of the anterior face of the left lower limb. It was a highly exudative recurrent lesion with involvement of the perilesional skin and a history of deep vein thrombosis. The clinical case is based on the description of the treatment, the evolution and highlighting the importance of follow-up by the expert nurse for the healing of chronic wounds.
