As Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação: Um olhar aos Nativos e Imigrantes Digitais no contexto educativo em Moçambique

Abstract

O presente estudo visa abordar a respeito das Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação: Um olhar aos nativos e imigrantes digitais no contexto educativo em Moçambique. É uma pesquisa com abordagem quali-quantitativa sustentada pela pesquisa bibliográfica, que se baseou no inquérito por questionário para a recolha de dados que por sua vez, foram quantificados e interpretados a partir do método de análise de conteúdos. Fizeram parte do estudo 20 estudantes de diferentes cursos, sendo 10 nativos e 10 imigrantes digitais, distribuídos em 5 homens e 5 mulheres, para cada grupo. São considerados de nativos, sujeitos com idade inferior a 42 anos e imigrantes os que partem de 42 anos para cima. Através da análise dos questionários, ficou evidente que, embora haja dificuldades no uso das TIC no processo de ensino e aprendizagem, os nativos encontram-se avançados e actualizados a respeito do uso de recursos tecnológicos (computadores e celulares android) como meios que auxiliam a aprendizagem. Ficou claro que os nativos dominam e navegam pela internet em busca de saberes, ao passo que imigrantes digitais ficam apegados aos métodos tradicionais de aprendizagem, ficando desconfortáveis em ambientes digitais.
