Análise do uso da pesca e ostreicultura no manguezal como ferramenta de educação ambiental nas escolas do campo de São Caetano de Odivelas (Pará)

Abstract

Objetivo foi analisar o uso da pesca e a ostreicultura no manguezal como ferramenta de educação ambiental nas escolas do campo. O estudo foi realizado no município de São Caetano de Odivelas, estado do Pará, Amazônia, Brasil. A pesquisa foi de caráter quanti-qualitativa, através da aplicação de questionários, para 20 docentes da educação básica das escolas do campo. Os dados coletados foram analisados pela estatística descritiva. Identificamos que todos os docentes concordam que a temática pesca e ostreicultura devem ser trabalhadas de forma transversal e interdisciplinar, através da educação ambiental (100%). Observamos que a maioria (70%) dos docentes empregam poucas vezes a pesca e a ostreicultura, na perspectiva da educação ambiental no ensino, para diversificar suas aulas (50%). Diagnosticamos que os docentes adotam metodologias que visam somente pesquisas, por parte dos estudantes (25%). Um total de 50% dos docentes relatam que os estudantes demonstram interesses quando o manguezal é abordado em sala de aula, levando em consideração a realidade local. Verificamos há escassez de matérias pedagógicos nas escolas do campo, relatados pelos docentes (10%). Esses, consideram que há pouco conhecimento sobre a pesca e a ostreicultura, como ferramenta de ensino, nas escolas do campo de São Caetano de Odivelas (20%). Em conclusão, há um déficit de difusão da pesca e ostreicultura em ambiente de manguezal, como estratégia de educação ambiental pelos docentes da educação do campo.
