This contribution aims to show what grammar teaching / learning is recommended in the Algerian textbook of French for the fifth primary education grade, knowing that the education system has undergone several reforms, from the traditional approach to the competency-based approach. The analytical grids inspired from Bloom���s taxonomy concerning cognitive categories for the study of this activity have made it possible to identify shortcomings in its design and articulation.
