Open science has become an important global agenda. However, there are many challenges for the implementation of open science in Latin America and in countries of the Global South. The purpose of this workshop is to discuss the difficulties and challenges for open science in the Global South, with a focus on Latin America, in a context of platformization of science and epistemic crisis.
