Im Vortrag wird einerseits ein Qualitätsstandard für Atmosphärenmodelldaten vorgestellt und andererseits ein Vorschlag gemacht, wie ein allgemeiner Qualitätsindex innerhalb des DataCite Metadatenschemas aussehen könnte. Der disziplinspezifische Qualitätsstandard wurde im Rahmen des BMBF-Projekts AtMoDat (https://www.atmodat.de) für die Veröffentlichung von Atmosphärenmodelldaten entwickelt. Da ein allgemeiner Indikator für die Forschungsdatenqualität auch für andere Disziplinen wichtig ist, wird langfristig bei den DataCite Metadaten die Einführung eines Feldes „Data Maturity Index“ o.ä. angestrebt.
