Buna guvernare prin prisma participării cetăţenilor la procesul decizional

Abstract

The article emphasizes the role of citizen participation in the decision-making process at local level. The article analyzes the needs of citizens’ participation in the management of public affairs to ensure good governance at local level. The normative framework that regulates the involvement of citizens in the decision-making process is analyzed. The forms and methods of citizen participation in the decision-making process are described and the responsibilities in this process of both the local public administration authorities and the citizens are analyzed. The benefits of involving citizens in the decision-making process are described.
