THE EFFECT OF MAGNESIUM ON PREGNANT WOMEN

Abstract

This article comprehensively covers the effect of magnesium on the health of pregnant women. The biological significance of magnesium, the increased need for it during pregnancy, clinical signs of magnesium deficiency and its consequences are analyzed on a scientific basis. Magnesium-rich foods, dietary and preventive recommendations are also presented. The article focuses on the issue of ensuring the health of the mother and child by maintaining magnesium balance during pregnancy. The results of the study show that timely and sufficient intake of magnesium plays an important role in the healthy course of pregnancy.
