Abstract

Ushbu maqolada Oʻzbekiston Respublikasida milliy valyuta – soʻmning muomalaga kiritilishi, uning sabablari va ahamiyati yoritiladi. 1994-yil 1-iyulda vaqtinchalik “soʻm kupon” shaklida chiqarilgan milliy valyuta, 15-noyabrda doimiy muomalaga kiritildi. Milliy valyutaning joriy etilishi Oʻzbekistonning iqtisodiy mustaqilligini taʼminlash, inflyatsiyani nazorat qilish va bozor iqtisodiyotiga oʻtishni jadallashtirishda muhim qadam boʻldi.
