Abstract

Notebook written from both ends, with text running in opposite directions inward from each cover, inverted with respect to each other. In this transcript, the pages of the back section have been arranged in reverse order and placed after the pages of the front section. The notebook largely contains numbered species lists of animal that ARW and his assistants collected in Sarawak, Bali, Lombok, Southern Sulawesi, Ké, Aru, Ambon, Seram, Ternate, Halmahera, New Guinea and Waigeo. The front section has the insect lists and the back section the bird and mammal lists.
