REVIEW ON METAL CONJUGATED HERBAL NANOPARTICLES LOADED IN SKIN CREAM

Abstract

Nanoparticles gained great importance in drug delivery system to control surface properties particle size and site-specific action of drugs with optimum therapeutic activity and dosage regimen. Nanoparticles found great promisein non-viral gene delivery system. In the new technology which are nano sized particles for delivering drugs in nano pathway, which are used in several applications like diagnostics, preparation of vaccines and therapeutics. Nanoparticles used to treat kidney diseases tuberculosis, CNS disorders, skin diseases and various types of cancers. Different types of nanoparticles are solid-lipid nanoparticles, polymeric nanoparticles, silica nanoparticles, carbon nanomaterials, and dendrimers. In this review the different formulation and synthesis of nanoparticles were explained, focusing on metallic based nanoparticles followed by its characterization studies antimicrobial and antioxidant studies. Phytochemical screening of herbal extract active constituents was explained. The formulation and evaluation nanoparticles followed by preparation of cream as facial cosmetic also included.
