Abstract

The purpose of this report is to concisely set out information on Shetland’s port and supply chaincapabilities in relation to future floating offshore wind projects in the region. The informationpresented has been collated from a variety of relevant stakeholders and is intended to provide initialinformation to the developer, prospective partners, and suppliers to ESB’s Stoura project. TheStoura Offshore Wind Farm project is in early-stage development approximately 40km off the Eastcoast of Shetland (Figure 1), spanning over 100km2 and set to produce 500MW of clean electricity.
