This deliverable report provides an overview of the developments within Work Package 2(WP2) of the SciLake project, detailing the progress on the initial version of the Scientific Lakeservice. The service aims to streamline knowledge acquisition, knowledge graph creation, andScientific Lake navigation thus facilitating access to a vast and diverse array of scientificdatasets. By aggregating and indexing large-scale datasets into a collection of ScientificKnowledge Graphs (SKGs) and providing efficient ways to access and reason over this data, the service enhances the discoverability and usability of research data and provides a robustdata management foundation for downstream value-added services developed in other workpackages of this project (WP3 and WP4).
The deliverable has been officially approved by the Project Officer. This project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon Europe framework programme under grant agreement No. 101058573.
