Abstract : Our research aims to explore the representations of Algerian students and sub-Saharan migrants as well as their relationship with interculturality and otherness, in the context of student migration in Algeria. To do this, we have designed two distinct methodological instruments for these two groups of students: a questionnaire for Algerian students and a semi-structured interview for sub-Saharan students. The analysis of these two tools will allow us to acquire a cross-sectional perspective on the representations of the two groups of students regarding the student migration process, university integration, their respective languages and cultures, as well as their intercultural and otherness relationships. At the end of this research, recommendations will be proposed to prepare Algerian students to engage positively in intercultural and otherness exchanges with neighboring African countries. Keywords : student migration, representations, culture, university integration, otherness, intercultural relationship.
