[EN] This report examines the governance of food sharing gardens in the city of Barcelona. This implies, on the one hand, understanding the regulatory framework that affects and conditions the practice of these activities, as well as mapping the actors involved, and understanding the type of relations formed between the actors involved in these initiatives. Also, understanding the food sharing gardens governance landscape in Barcelona involves appreciating and describing the diversity of shared food garden projects that exist in the city, as well as identifying who are their main beneficiaries. We also identify the main obstacles hindering the benefits of these initiatives and the enablers that promote their success. The ultimate purpose of this report is to provide recommendations for the local government, the private sector, and the food sharing initiatives to support food sharing gardens expansion and improvement in Barcelona.
