Topic of Discussion The informatics community is characterized by its distinct publication profile (e.g. journals and conferences) together with a longstanding commitment to open science, and active involvement in the creation of various infrastructures dedicated to the dissemination of publications (e.g. CiteSeerX and DBLP) or software code (via Software Heritage). We will focus on the specific issue of research software and its identification in scholarly publication to improve the visibility of such assets in a researcher's profile. During this second edition of the GraspOS Community of Practice, we will hear from Laurent Romary, who is Director for Scientific Information and Culture at Inria, the French national research organisation for Computer Science.
