Abstract

Abstract: Blended learning provides engaging learning opportunities for learners by combining a face-to-face teaching medium with online learning alternatives. As a result, many digital platforms have been implemented by universities and institutions during the COVID-19 pandemic to maintain continuity in their teaching-learning process and ensure pedagogical follow-up, such as "Google Classroom", part of the Google Apps for Education (GAFE) online suite, based on the "Flipped Classroom" pedagogical model. This approach attempts to energize classroom time by changing traditional learning roles while alternating between distance learning and classroom training to take advantage of the strengths of each. In this article, we primarily highlight the value of the flipped classroom in blended learning. Then, we highlight the advantages and contributions offered by the pedagogical platform "Google Classroom" for the FLE teaching-learning process. Finally, we discuss the limitations of the flipped classroom and the constraints that instructional designers and teachers are confronted with, almost on a daily basis. Keywords: Hybrid teaching, FFL, flipped classroom, Google classroom, autonomy, pedagogy.
