Abstract

Open Science is een langdurige transitie die van toepassing is op zowel wetenschappelijk onderzoek, hoger onderwijs als de valorisatie/impact taakstelling van universiteiten. Eind 2022 zijn de strategische Open Science doelen nationaal vastgesteld1 in NPOS2030 Ambition Document and Rolling Agenda. De uitwerking van Open Science praktijken is sterk gekoppeld aan de academische waarden en principes in een meer open, participatieve wijze van onderzoek en onderwijs. Dit leidt tot een groter vertrouwen in wetenschappelijke kennis, zowel binnen als buiten de academische wereld, en versnelt de wetenschappelijke vooruitgang, innovaties en de mondiale samenwerking en participatie.
