Estrategias de lectura multimodal: análisis de inferencias durante la lectura de cómics en español

Abstract

maquetaciones, lo que nos lleva a introducir cambios en nuestra práctica lectora. Para ello, activamos las estrategias de lectura que nos permiten explorar la totalidad del texto multimodal, tanto en lengua materna como en lengua extranjera. Dado que los estudios sobre dichas estrategias son un campo relativamente nuevo, nos proponemos, en esta investigación, analizar las inferencias construidas por un grupo de estudiantes durante la lectura de textos multimodales en español a través de la asociación de otras estrategias. Las discusiones fueron presentadas desde el punto de vista de autores como Koch e Elias (2008), Kato (1995), Kleiman (1989, 2000, 2002), Solé (2007), Coscarelli e Novais (2010) e van Leeuwen (2017). Esta investigación se caracteriza por ser cualitativa y exploratoria y se llevó a cabo a través de un estudio de caso con nueve estudiantes de español de Secundaria de una escuela pública estatal de Teresina. Se aplicó un cuestionario de comprensión de textos relacionados con tres historietas en español. Al analizar las estrategias de lectura utilizadas por los participantes observamos que las inferencias se realizaban a partir de la integración de una serie de recursos y elementos movilizados por el lector. Concluimos que es importante que el lector integre los modos semióticos de los textos en español, observando los recursos visuales para apropiarse mejor de las estrategias de lectura.
