Abstract

Welche Unterschiede bestehen in der Bevölkerung bezüglich der Kompetenzen im Umgang mit digitalen Medien und Systemen? Wie unterscheidet sich das Wissen über und die Bewertung von Künstlicher Intelligenz? Der vorliegende dritte Bericht der Studie „Kompass: Künstliche Intelligenz und Kompetenz“ stellt drei Typen vor, in die die Bevölkerung unterteilt werden kann: die KI-affinen digital Selbstsicheren, die KI-ambivalenten digital Moderaten und die KI-skeptischen digital Verhaltenen. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, wie sich diese Gruppen (1) in der Nutzung digitaler Anwendungen, (2) in der Selbsteinschätzung medienbezogener Kompetenz und (3) des Wissens zu KI sowie (4) in der Bewertung von KI sowohl im Hinblick auf das eigene Leben als auch (5) auf die Gesellschaft als Ganzes unterscheiden. Zudem weisen sie personenbezogene und lebensweltliche Kontexte aus, die dafür relevant erscheinen. Damit liefert der Bericht Ansatzpunkte für pädagogische Interventionen wie auch bildungspolitische Maßnahmen zur Förderung relevanter Kompetenzen im digitalen Wandel. Der Bericht basiert auf der repräsentativen Befragung der Bevölkerung im Rahmen des Projekts „Digitales Deutschland“.
