Characterization of Pseudopyrochroa Pic Young (2000) provided a generic redescription and diagnosis for Pseudopyrochroa adults that holds for P. inthanonensis as well. The structure of the complex, interocular cranial apparatus (Fig. 2), as well as the shape and emargination of the last abdominal ventrite and genitalic structure (Fig. 5) are consistent with salient features of adult males of Pseudopyrochroa.
