A series of biologically active organophosphorus compounds have been synthesized by the reactions of 4-Chlorophenyl dichlorophosphate with 3-(substitutedphenyl)-2-thioxoimidazolidin-4-one. The compounds have been characterized on the basis of elemental analyses and spectral (IR, 1H NMR 31P NMR) data. All the compounds were screened for their antimicrobial activity .They were found to possess significant anti-microbial activity.
