Hybos brachialis Rondani, 1875 ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION: 1875c: 446. TYPE LOCALITY: “ Insula Bonae Fortunae (Borneo), Provincia Sarawak [Bona Fortuna Island, Sarawak Province, Borneo]” (Rondani 1875c: 421). TYPE MATERIAL: 1 ♀, holotype (in poor condition, partially destroyed, glued to a cardboard) (MSNG): Sarawak / Typus / brachialis Rond. / Hybos brachialis n° 44. CURRENT STATUS: valid species (Smith 1975: 186, Yang et al. 2007: 289). REMARKS: Rondani (1875c: 446) described Hybos brachialis, without specifying the number, the sex or the length of the specimens, from material collected by G. Doria and O. Beccari. Guiglia (1957: 195) and Raineri & Rey (1996: 36) reported the holotype (♀) in the MSNG.
