29. Rhipicephalus geigyi (Aeschlimann and Morel, 1965). An Afrotropical species usually found on Artiodactyla: Bovidae, and rarely on Carnivora: Canidae and Felidae. There no records of Rhipicephalus geigyi causing human parasitism. M: Aeschlimann and Morel (1965), under the name Boophilus geigyi, and given its current status in Horak et al.
