Domain-Data-Protokolle für die empirische Bildungsforschung: Unterstützung bei der Erstellung von FAIRen Daten

Abstract

Das Poster möchte einen Einblick in das noch junge Konzept der Domain-Data-Protokolle für die empirische Bildungsforschung geben. Die Domain-Data-Protokolle (DDP) orientieren sich an der Idee der Science Europe (2018), wonach öffentliche und referenzierbare Muster-Standardprotokolle für das disziplinspezifische Forschungsdatenmanagement zu gestalten sind. Ziel der DDPs ist, Forschungsdaten der empirischen Bildungsforschung nach den FAIR-Prinzipien (Wilkinson et al., 2016) zu produzieren, die Dritten so offen wie möglich im Sinne von Open Science zur Verfügung stehen. Die Datenprotokolle sollen daher einerseits dazu beitragen, dass Forschende vor Projektbeginn und innerhalb des Projekts über die methodischen, ethischen und rechtlichen Anforderungen der Erhebung, Aufbereitung, Archivierung und Bereitstellung zur Nachnutzung über ein Datenrepositorium oder Forschungsdatenarchiv ihrer Daten reflektieren. Andererseits sollen die Datenprotokolle dazu dienen, die Forschungsvorgaben von Forschungsförderern hinsichtlich der Nachnutzbarkeit der Daten durch Dritte und zur Replizierbarkeit der Forschungsarbeit zu erfüllen. Für die Nutzenden hat das DDP einen vielfachen Mehrwert: Forschende werden durch die DDPs beim Datenmanagement unterstützt, die DDPs ermöglichen die Replizierbarkeit von Daten und Ergebnissen, sie vereinfachen die Begutachtungsprozesse und unterstützen die Langzeitdatenspeicherung sowie den Datenaustausch.
