Abstract

El siguiente artículo es un proyecto institucional para nivel inicial, pensado, integrado y estructurado para niños de sala de 5 años. La propuesta parte del interés natural de los chicos por el entorno, y busca acercarlos al mundo de los hongos, un componente poco conocido pero muy importante de la biodiversidad local. A través de diversas actividades, los niños exploran formas, colores, hábitats y usos de distintos tipos de hongos, como el moho, las levaduras y las setas. La planificación contempla el desarrollo de habilidades como el pensamiento crítico, la curiosidad científica y el trabajo colaborativo. Se emplean recursos variados como videos, observaciones con lupa, maquetas, cuentos y hasta la realización de un cultivo de hongos (gírgolas) en el aula. Las familias también participan, aportando fotos de hongos encontrados en el entorno cercano. A lo largo del proyecto, los chicos clasifican hongos según sus características (comestibles, venenosos, medicinales), aprenden vocabulario nuevo y registran información mediante el dictado al docente y producciones propias. El proyecto se desarrolla de forma secuenciada entre abril y junio, con un enfoque lúdico, experimental y transversal a distintas áreas del conocimiento.
