West-Life has brought complex data analysis in Structural Biology to a simple Web browser-based Virtual Research Environment (VRE). Capitalizing on European and National projects, such as Instruct, WeNMR, and CCP4, as well as other projects, like EGI-Engage, through the MoBrain Competence Center, West-Life thus started from a leading position in the Structural Biology field, in that its partners were already providing valuable services in specific disciplines.
