Abstract

Economy and Contemporary Society – ECS (former Yearbook of “Gh. Zane” Institute of Economic Research) is an international multidisciplinary double-blind peer-reviewed open access journal published annually online by Gheorghe Zane Institute for Economic and Social Research, Romanian Academy, Iași Branch. The mission of the journal is to disseminate original theoretical and empirical research on broad economic and social issues relevant for scholars, practitioners, and policy-makers.
