Praxisforschung revisited – zum Potenzial rekonstruktiver Zugänge

Abstract

Im Rahmen der wissenschaftlichen Begleitung von zwei Versuchsschulen arbeiten die Autor*innen des Beitrags seit einigen Jahren mit qualitativ-rekonstruktiven Verfahren der Schul- und Unterrichtsforschung. Dabei stellt sich die Kooperation zwischen Schule und Wissenschaft jeweils unterschiedlich dar: Während im Oberstufen-Kolleg Wissenschaftler*innen und Lehrer*innen in partizipativen Forschungs- und Entwicklungsprojekten zusammenarbeiten, findet an der Helene-Lange-Schule eine evaluative Begleitung der Schulpraxis durch die Wissenschaftler*innen statt. Für beide Vorgehensweisen einer praxisnahen Schulforschung stellt sich, allerdings in unterschiedlicher Weise, das Verhältnis von Nähe und Distanz als zentrales Problem dar, das zugespitzt wie folgt beschrieben werden kann: Während im Oberstufen-Kolleg die Involviertheit der forschenden Lehrer*innen in die Schulpraxis bzw. die Erforschung der eigenen Praxis den für Forschung notwendigen distanzierten Blick verhindert, erschwert im Rahmen der Evaluationsforschung die Systemdifferenz von Wissenschaft und Schulpraxis die Anschlussfähigkeit von Forschungsbefunden. Für beide Zugänge stellt sich die Anonymisierung von Daten und Befunden als eine (weitere) Herausforderung dar. Im Ausblick wird die Etablierung eines Netzwerks von Schulen und Wissenschaftler*innen als potenzielle Problemlösung vorgeschlagen. As part of the scientific monitoring of two laboratory schools, the authors of the article have been working for several years with qualitative-reconstructive methods of school and teaching research. The cooperation between school and research is different in each case: While researchers and teachers work together in participative research and development projects in the Oberstufen-Kolleg, the Helene Lange School provides evaluative support for school practice by the researchers. For both approaches to practice-oriented school research, the relationship between nearness and distance presents itself as a central problem, albeit in a different way: While in the Oberstufen-Kolleg the involvement of the researching teachers in school practice or the research of their own practice prevents the distanced view necessary for research, in the context of evaluation research the system difference between research and school practice makes it more difficult for research findings to be connected. For both approaches, the anonymization of data and findings presents a (further) challenge. In the outlook, we propose the establishment of a network of schools and researchers as a possible solution to the problem.
