Abstract

Los bailarines tienen que ejecutar frecuentemente un entreinamionto de flexibilidad. La danza es un arte de desempeno ejecutado em espacio y tiempo, y expresado atraves de los movimientos Del cuerpo, de la belleza y plasticidad. Uma buena tecnica necesita movimientos mas precisos y leves, presentando gand movilidad articular para garantizar la belleza y perfeccion de los movimientos. Es fundamental para garantizar el buon desempeno que los bailarines posean altos niveles de flexibilidad. Este estudio tiene como objetivo verificar la diferencia entre el nivel de flexibilidad de los bailarines Del sexo masculino y femenino. Fueron evaluados por goniometria de tres articulaciones 22 bailarines, 11 hombres y 11 mujeres (edad promedio 21,73 ± 5,29; y 15,45 ±5,68). Se pudo observar que los movimientos de flexibilidad lumbar (FL), flexion de cuadril (FQ), y extension horizontal de hombro (EHO) presentaron diferencias de 5,91o, 8,91o y 25,09o, respectivamente, entre los promedios, siendo considerada significativa solamente la diferencia entre los promedios relativos a EHO, a favor de los hombres.se concluye qye de acuerdo com la literatura revisada, los promedios de los movientos de flexion de cuadril y hombro encontrados, se insertan em uma classificacion de Bueno a muy Bueno, siendo que los valores para flexibilidad de cuadril em los hombres sobrepasaron los valores considerados muy Buenos
