Abstract

İctimâ’iyyât (Sosyoloji) adlı kitap, Osmanlı döneminde Ma’ârif Vekâleti Ta’lîm ve Terbiye Dâiresi tarafından lise son sınıflarda okunmak üzere kabul edilmiştir. Kitabın müellifi Dârü’ş-şafaka Müdürü ve İctimâ’iyyât Mu’allimi Ali KÂMİ'dir. Kitap, Prof. Dr. Emine ÖZTÜRK ve Dr. Öğretim Üyesi Ali FİDAN tarafından Osmanlıca aslından Türkçe'ye transkribe edilmiş ve Orhan GÜLTEKİN tarafından tashih edilmiştir. İbrahim Hilmi tarafından tabi ve nâşir edilen kitabın basım, yayın ve satış hakları Akademisyen Kitabevi A.Ş.'ne aittir. Kitap, sosyoloji alanında bir giriş niteliği taşımaktadır ve iktisadi ictimâ’iyyât, beytî ictimâ’iyyât veya aile ictimlâ’iyyâtı, siyâsî ve hukûkî ictimâ’iyyât gibi konuları ele almaktadır. Kitap, çeşitli toplumların üretim tarzları, mübâdele tarzları, ailelerin farklı şekilleri ve evrimi, siyasi toplulukların çeşitleri ve gelişimi gibi konuları inceler. Kitap, Osmanlı dönemi sosyolojik düşüncesine ve toplumun yapısına ışık tutan önemli bir kaynaktır. The book titled \"İctimâ’iyyât (Sociology)\" was accepted to be read in the final year of high school by the Ministry of Education's Department of Education and Discipline during the Ottoman period. The author of the book is Ali KÂMİ, the Director of Dârü’ş-şafaka and the Teacher of İctimâ’iyyât. The book was transcribed from its original Ottoman Turkish version to Turkish by Prof. Dr. Emine ÖZTÜRK and Dr. Öğretim Üyesi Ali FİDAN, and edited by Orhan GÜLTEKİN. The printing, publishing, and sales rights of the book belong to Akademisyen Kitabevi A.Ş. The book serves as an introduction to the field of sociology and covers topics such as economic society, domestic society or family society, political and legal society. The book examines various societies' modes of production, exchange modes, different forms and evolution of families, as well as the types and development of political communities. The book is an important source that sheds light on the sociological thought of the Ottoman period and the structure of society.
