Abstract

Embora o Ensino de Astronomia seja recomendado por diversos documentos normativos, é desconsiderado por grande parte dos autores de livros didáticos, bem como esquecido pelos professores da educação básica em seus planejamentos e ações didáticas. Como forma de contribuir para sanar essa lacuna, desenvolvemos uma sequência utilizando o método Ensino sob Medida. Essa sequência didática utilizou o método supracitado para abordar os seguintes temas: o que é uma estrela? Qual a origem da formação do sistema solar? O nascimento, a vida e a morte das estrelas, nucleossíntese e a origem e a expansão do universo. Foram programadas cinco aulas com 50 minutos cada e, ao final, foi aplicado um teste conceitual a fim de avaliar a aprendizagem dos estudantes, além de um questionário de opiniões, com intuito de verificar o engajamento deles. Com tais aplicações, percebeu-se que essa sequência didática proporcionou engajamento dos alunos nas atividades.
