Abstract

Este trabalho objetiva compreender o comportamento do fluxo de calor no solo e da temperatura de superfície em diferentes usos e ocupações no perímetro urbano do município de Montes Claros (Minas Gerais) através de técnicas de sensoriamento remoto. A escolha desta área de estudo se deu devido ao crescimento populacional exercido sobre Montes Claros, e, em função deste crescimento, a demanda por construções habitacionais e suprimentos alimentícios industrializados aumentam gradativamente; assim, entender o comportamento das variáveis apresentadas é de suma importância. Os resultados expostos nesta pesquisa mostraram-se pertinentes aos estudos sobre a dinâmica das ocupações do uso do solo urbano para com as variáveis do balanço de energia. O fluxo de calor no solo teve os menores valores para áreas com cobertura vegetal bem definida, assim como áreas de Cerrado e Floresta Tropical Caducifólia, com comportamento reverso às áreas de natureza antrópica, entretanto, salienta-se o elevado valor de fluxo de calor no solo para corpos hídricos, justificado pela fundamentação de quantidade de energia utilizada para aquecimento dos corpos hídricos e pelas literaturas analisadas. As médias termais aqui analisadas seguiram o comportamento do fluxo de calor no solo em relação às áreas de vegetação nativa, com menores valores e maiores valores para áreas antropogênicas dentro do perímetro urbano de Montes Claros.
