Abstract

En este estudio se contrastan dos métodos de diagnostico morfológico utilizando como modelo el fitopatógeno Thecaphora solani: tecnicas histológicas con sección y procesamiento de esporas del agente infeccioso y microscopia confocal de estas estructuras. La microscpia confocal demostró proporcionar un nivel de detalle similar al obtenido por técnicas histológicas, con la ventaja adicional de ser una herramienta rápida e igualmente efectiva para este tipo de estudios.
