Gaya Kepemimpinan Transformasional dan Loyalitas Karyawan Generasi Z

Abstract

Rendahnya loyalitas karyawan pada umumnya dan generasi Z khususnya dapat menyebabkan turunnya produktivitas suatu organisasi. Tingkat absensi dan perpindahan karyawan yang tinggi merupakan indikator buruk pada kemajuan perusahaan. Diperlukan upaya ekstra bagi perusahaan untuk bisa mengelola karyawan dari generasi Z agar mencapai loyalitas yang tinggi dalam menjalankan perannya di perusahaan. Beberapa penelitian terdahulu menunjukkan bahwa salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi loyalitas karyawan adalah gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, dimana kepemimpinan transformasional dapat mendorong adanya rasa percaya, loyal, dan respek dari karyawan terhadap pemimpinnya. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui adakah hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dengan loyalitas karyawan generasi Z. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional dengan teknik purposive sampling, melibatkan 99 karyawan generasi Z dan telah bekerja selama minimal 1 tahun di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta sebagai responden. Alat pengumpul data dalam penelitian ini adalah Skala gaya kepemimpinan transformasional yang dikembangkan oleh Saija (2016) dengan nilai koefisien korelasi reliabilitas cornbach’s alpha 0,864 dan skala loyalitas karyawan yang dikembangkan oleh Putri (2022) dengan nilai koefisien korelasi reliabilitas cornbach’s alpha 0,863. Data yang terkumpul di analisa dengan korelasi product moment pearson. Hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai p=0,000 (p<0,05). Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positif antara gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dengan loyalitas karyawan generasi Z. Semakin tinggi penerapan pola kepemimpinan transformasional pada karyawan generasi Z maka akan semakin tinggi pula loyalitasnya dan sebaliknya.
