Analisis Performa Micro Turbojet Engine Aero-16 Berbasis Turbocharge Holset

Abstract

Pesawat terbang adalah kendaraan yang mampu terbang di udara. Pesawat dapat terbang karena memiliki 4 gaya yaitu thrust, drag, weight dan lift. 4 gaya tersebut dapat berkerja di pesawat karena ada bantuan dari engine dan wing. Engine yang terdapat pada pesawat terbang digunakan untuk mendapatkan thrust. Turbojetengine merupakan mesin yang berkerja dengan cara mengkompresi udara luar oleh kompresor hingga mencapai tekanan tinggi. Selanjutnya udara bertekanan tinggi tersebut masuk ke dalam ruang bakar untuk dicampurkan dengan bahan bakar. Pembakaran udara dan bahan bakar tersebut akan menaikkan temperatur dan tekanan fluida kerja. Fluida bertekanan tinggi ini selanjutnya dilewatkan melalui turbin dan keluar pada nosel dengan kecepatan sangat tinggi. Sedangkan Turbin gas adalah sebuah mesin panas pembakaran dalam, proses kerjanya seperti motor bakar, yaitu udara luar dihisap masuk kompresor dan dikompresi, kemudian udara dimampatkan masuk ruang bakar dan dipakai untuk proses pembakaran, sehingga diperoleh suatu energi panas yang besar, energi panas tersebut diekspansikan pada turbin dan menghasilkan energi mekanik pada poros, sisa gas pembakaran yang keluar turbin menjadi energi dorong (turbin gas pesawat terbang). Pada penelitian ini dilakukan percobaan pada Micro Turbojet Engine Aero-16 berbasis Turbocharge Holset, sehingga didapatkan nilai thrust pada variasi rpm 5000 sampai 7500 sebesar 0,63675 N – 7,7499 N, dan luas Air Inlet sebesar 0,00212264 m^2 serta nila Thrust Spesific Fuel Consumption sebesar 0,112709007 (kg⁄h)/N.
